DUNLUCE CASTLE - Come On Get Crafty * August Sketch

Monday, August 11, 2014

Happy last of summer, for us anyway...another layout documenting our UK Invasion
and using the new August Sketch from Come On Get Crafty.

This is sketch below and you can find the original post HERE.
I have so many photos to scrap from this trip and had been planning to use some sort
of postcard or stamps in a layout.  This postcard was a piece of cut-apart paper from Pebbles.  I used it as this center element instead of a 3rd photo.  I love this black & white of transparency cut from a Webster's Pages piece.  I used a postage stamp punch to add some color and pattern on top of it.

I went to Dunluce as a kid, but it has been years.  I never walked down to the cave that goes out to sea at underneath it though.  It was SO many steps...at least a hundred or more.

Lots of stickers from Bella Blvd., Pink Paislee & Webster's Pages added some fun on my "postcard.

Thanks for stopping by today...make sure you go by the Come On Get Crafty blog
and enter you take on the sketch!  You have until August 23rd to link up your L
and get a chance to win $5 to spend in the shop!  Now, go get crafty!
